IPAM offers a range of career--oriented courses, developed to broaden the skills and knowledge of professionals in the fields of politics, administration and management. The optional courses-- Election Administration and Management, Legislative Administration and Management, Public Administration and Management and Public Policy Formulation and Management are structured into Advanced Professional Diploma and Postgraduate Professional Diploma for candidates to make their career choices.
Professional Postgraduate Diploma
Candidate with Degree or equivalent in a related2 field: 6 months
Candidate with Degree or equivalent in a non-related field: 12 months
Membership Certificates from recognized professional bodies, as well as other higher qualifications will be added advantage.
OBTAINABLE QUALIFICATIONS AT GRADUATION: Professional Diploma in the chosen field plus membership Certificate of the Institute on a grade level determined by candidate's performance
Advanced Professional Diploma
Candidates with at least five 'O' Level credits obtained at one sitting including Mathematics and English Language: 18 months
Candidates with Ordinary Diploma or equivalent in a related field: 6 months
Candidates with Ordinary Diploma or equivalent in a non- related field: 9 months

Leadership & Governance Workshop
An intensive training program designed to equip professionals with leadership tools, public ethics, and governance strategies for national development.

Offered in affiliation with the University of Nigeria Nsukka, this academic program covers foundational knowledge and skills in political and administrative sciences.
